We are often asked the question of why are there more environmental jobs listed for the USA. Quite simply, if they are around then we will try to encourage the advertiser of the role to list the job with us. However, certain organisations prefer to recruit via certain methods. Some prefer to use a green recruitment company, whilst others will list with specific regional or global internet sites or journals.
We did originally create a gauge of environmental jobs in the UK and USA. However its very difficult to get a true reflection of the jobs market unless you factor in all jobs, from all job boards and employers. Yes there are trends in the green jobs market, but to get a real reflection of this you must have good data. To acquire that data is not economically viable just yet!
